Localizado por Sanchis (1951: 53) en Mallorca. Y a una fuente mallorquina atribuye esta leve variante el DCVB (s. v. abril): Si es refreda d'Abril dolç, és es més dolent de tots. Nótese el uso del artículo balear es (< latín IPSU) y de la forma aferética bril en el refrán principal.
